Is Your Flame Burning Bright?

The common factor in practitioners who continue to be inspired and energised.
The image shows a group of people gathered around a campfire at night in a wooded outdoor setting. The main themes are camaraderie, outdoor recreation, and social bonding, with individuals sitting on logs and benches, enjoying the warmth and atmosphere of the fire under the night sky.

I currently feel more inspired and energised and on, despite the world backdrop of absolute insanity and I am putting it down (mostly) to one thing.

🌳 The Backdrop

These are strange and deeply uncertain times.
Wildfires and climate change
Economics that polarise
Divisive trillionaires
And Parasitic technology

⚡️ It can feel like our wellness offerings are nowhere near enough.

🌍 I have had conversations with several practitioners this week who are feeling the weight of *gesticulates with a flailing arm “all of that out there”

🔥 Yet there are a host of practitioners I know that are feeling more inspired than ever (myself among them) to bring their medicine through.

What's the difference?

⭕️ Being Actively in Community.

Here's what we know

The world is longing for the kind of support and connection that begins with time spend tending to the inner.

These are the precise times for the medicine of breath, sound, touch, movement, therapy, coaching.

The work of the wellness professional allows people to resource themselves, to be with their parts, to love and honour and integrate and to be a powerful expression of wholeness in their family, workplace and wider communities.

It's peacework actually, and we do it through the body, the breath, the holding, the love.

❤️ But if you are a practitioner, all the love you have for your work and the people in it, is no longer enough to keep you afloat.

There is too much happening in the collective now.

⭕️ You HAVE TO gather with others to feel the support, solidarity and inspiration that comes from that.

Those that are sticking to the solo approach are

🌳 Running out of steam
🌳 Feeling heavy
🌳 Struggling to sell their wares
🌳 Feeling confused, or lost
🌳 Becoming stale
🌳 Losing some of the love for their work

And it's understandable but its also avoidable.

If this is landing for you, be gentle with yourself.
It's an intense time,

And here are two options I want to offer up

1) Come and Join The Portal - its free, there is lots of great conversation and hopeful exploration and free support in there. It's community, active, loving and far from the tech-bro-BS.

2) Take a look at The Treehouse - its a Supervision, Support and Community Space for those in Wellness, its in its first few months of existence and already some real magic has been happening in there.

In 2026 she launched 🌳 The Treehouse | A Supervision and Support Community for wellness professionals.

The Treehouse sits within a wider vision of eco-system funding and wise counsel for those in wellness - a callback to when communities used to hold their medicine keepers - so the vital role of returning us all to the whole (inner and outer) can be played by well rounded, well resourced, well rested folks responding to their deepest calling.

⭕️ We hold them, they hold us, we remember how to be held, we remember how to hold. Full circle.

Her view of wellness is that it must always be rooted in community and she brings that unshakeable commitment to her offerings.

MY TEACHERS / GUIDES

I am fiercely supported and inspired by a network of teachers, mentors, peers and friends. I wholeheartedly understand that part of my work is to share what I learn from them. Here are the ones who currently inspire, support and teach me, speak in ways that makes me stop and listen and generally shine a light in dark corners.
